Anyone who wishes to live at Goodwill at North must be at least 62 years old, with a gross income of less than $30,120 for one person, or a combined gross income of $34,440 or less for two people. Goodwill at North has a strict no pet policy. This rule does not pertain to anyone with a reasonable accommodation animal.
ABOUT US
Goodwill at North - Gerald T. Langan Apartments is the new reincarnation of the former North Scranton Jr. High School.
Built in the late 1920's, the school was in operation for 60 years.
After sitting in "limbo", the building has been re-purposed and transformed into a quality senior living facility, housing 52 one-bedroom units, and 6 two-bedroom units. The Scranton Historical Society was a key player in maintaining the same look and feel of the original structure and its interior, while at the same time allowing for the cozy, at-home feeling everyone enjoys who currently reside within the building.
It is also the home of The Theater at North, an 800 seat auditorium where national and local professionals and amateurs perform, as well as professional and educational productions and seminars are held.
